I need to ask you the most important question you’ll ever be asked: Do you know without a doubt that God loves you, that your sins are forgiven, and that you are going to heaven? The great news is, you can! Let me share with you how to discover the free gift of salvation.
- Admit… You must admit that you are a sinner. “There is no one righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10). “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). It is our sin that separates us from God. According to Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death (eternal separation) but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.”
- Believe… You must believe that Jesus died on the cross for you and then rose from the dead to prove that His payment was acceptable to God. But you must believe the is fact, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” (Acts 16:31)
- Confess… “If you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Romans 10:9-10)
If you are ready to accept the gift of eternal life through Jesus, and you truly desire to ask Him into your heart to be your personal Lord and Savior, then pray this prayer:
“Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that you died for my sins and rose from the grave so that I might have eternal life in Heaven with You. I repent of my sins and ask you to come into my heart and life. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Savior and will serve you everyday. Thank you for saving me. Amen.”
