Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech—
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Question
Where have you lost your grip on God’s promises, and how is it affecting the way you live?

Context
In 2 Corinthians 3, Paul is contrasting the old covenant with the new covenant in Christ. The old covenant, represented by Moses, carried glory but it was fading. The new covenant, established through Jesus, carries a greater and lasting glory. Because of this, Paul says we can live with confidence because our hope is secure in Christ and not dependent on our performance.

Application
It’s possible to still have all the right tools spiritually, but lose the grip that makes them effective. Like a screwdriver without a handle, we may still have knowledge of God’s Word, but lack the confidence to live it out.

When we lose our grip on hope, we begin to shrink back: we hesitate to speak truth, struggle to trust God fully and live cautiously instead of boldly.

But boldness doesn’t come just from personality. When we fix our eyes on Jesus and remember what He has done, our confidence is restored. We begin to live with strength, clarity, and purpose again.

Truth For The Day
Because my hope is in Christ, I can live with boldness and confidence today.

Pray
Lord, forgive me for the times I’ve lost my confidence and tried to live in my own strength. Restore my grip on Your promises. Help me to walk in boldness, not because of who I am, but because of who You are. Strengthen my faith and use my life for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Question
Are you waiting for something big while neglecting the small things God has already placed in front of you?

Context
In Luke 16, Jesus taught about stewardship and integrity. He emphasized that faithfulness in small responsibilities reveals the condition of our heart and prepares us for greater trust.

Application
We often look for the big moments like the breakthroughs, opportunities, and success. We pray for doors to open and for God to do something significant in our lives. But many times, God is not looking at what we’re doing, He’s looking at our faithfulness in it.

Small things matter more than we think. It’s in the quiet disciplines that God shapes our character. It’s easy to overlook the everyday moments, but those are the very places where trust is built between us and God.

Before David stood before Goliath, he was faithful in the field. Before the disciples were sent out, they followed closely in the ordinary. God often prepares us in private before He promotes us in public.

If you feel like what you’re doing is small or unnoticed, don’t grow weary. God sees it all. Stay steady. Stay committed. Stay faithful. Because what you do in the small things is preparing you for what God has next.

Truth For The Day
God measures faithfulness, not size.

Pray
Lord, help me to be faithful in the small things. Give me a heart that honors You in the unseen moments and the everyday responsibilities. Teach me to trust that You are working, even when it feels small. Prepare me for what You have ahead. In Jesus’ name, amen.

not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬

Question
Have you grown comfortable in being “warm,” instead of pursuing a life that is fully on fire for God?

Context
In Romans 12, Paul is urging believers to live transformed lives, not just in belief, but in daily practice. Verse 11 challenges us to maintain a spiritual passion in serving the Lord.

Application
God never called us to live in the middle or lukewarm status.

Warm looks okay on the outside. It’s not cold. It’s not dead. But it’s also not passionate, not alive, not fully surrendered. There’s a difference between being on fire and just being warm.

A lukewarm faith often doesn’t happen overnight. It’s gradual. A missed prayer here. A distracted moment there. A slow drift instead of a sudden fall.

God calls us to a faith that burns, a heart that seeks, and a life that is fully engaged in His presence. If your walk with God feels more “warm” than “on fire,” don’t ignore it, respond to it. Return to the place where your heart was stirred. Reignite your time in the Word. Recommit to prayer. Refocus your attention on Him.

Truth For The Day
God didn’t save you to live lukewarm, He called you to live fully alive in Him.

Pray
Lord, I don’t want to settle for a lukewarm faith. Stir my heart again. Rekindle my passion for You and awaken a deeper hunger for Your presence. Help me to pursue You with sincerity and zeal. In Jesus’ name, amen.
