Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭41‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Question
What is God asking you to do today that you’ve been delaying?

Context
After Peter preached at Pentecost, the people were cut to the heart. They believed the message about Jesus, and their response was immediate: “Those who accepted his message were baptized.” There was no delay, no hesitation, just obedience.

Application
One of the greatest struggles in the Christian life is not knowing what God wants but doing what He’s already said. Baptism is one of the clearest steps of obedience in Scripture, yet many delay it. Not out of rebellion, but out of hesitation, fear, or waiting for the “right time.”

Delayed obedience can quietly become disobedience. Every step God asks us to take is not to burden us, but to bless us. Baptism is not about being ready, it’s about being willing.

Is there a step of obedience you’ve been putting off? Whether it’s baptism, forgiveness, or trusting God in a new area, don’t wait. The moment God speaks is the moment to move.

Truth For The Day
Obedience opens the door to everything God wants to do next in your life.

Pray
Lord, give me a heart that responds quickly when You speak. Remove fear, hesitation, and excuses. Help me to trust You enough to obey immediately. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Question
Are you trusting what you see, or are you trusting what God has said?

Context
The writer of Hebrews reminds believers that faith isn’t based on what we can see it’s rooted in trusting God’s promises. Throughout Scripture, God’s people often had to walk forward before they ever saw the outcome.

Application
There are moments in life when God feels silent, the path seems unclear, and the outcome is uncertain. It’s in these moments that faith matters the most. Faith is not pretending everything is okay, it’s choosing to trust God even when everything feels unsure. God is always working, even if you don’t see it. Just because you don’t see progress doesn’t mean God is absent. He is aligning things, strengthening you, and preparing what’s ahead.

Don’t let what you see determine what you believe. Let what God has said shape your confidence.

Truth For The Day
God is working even when you can’t see it.

Pray
Lord, help me to trust You beyond what I can see. Strengthen my faith in uncertain moments. Remind me that You are always working for my good, even when I don’t understand. I choose to believe Your promises today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
‭‭John‬ ‭20‬:‭29‬ ‭NKJV‬

Question
Where is God asking you to trust Him, even though you can’t quite see the outcome?

Context
John 20:24–29 takes place after the resurrection of Jesus. The disciples have seen Him but Thomas has not. When they tell him, he struggles to believe. A week later, Jesus appears again and meets Thomas right where he was and invites him to see and believe. Then Jesus spoke beyond Thomas to us: “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Application
We often live in the space between promise and fulfillment. Like Thomas, we want clarity, proof, and certainty. But Jesus calls us to trust Him even when we don’t see the full picture. Faith is not blind, it’s anchored in who Jesus is.

Truth For The Day
God is working even when you don’t see it.

Pray
Lord, You know how often I want answers before I trust. Help me to believe even when I can’t see what You’re doing. Strengthen my faith in uncertain moments and remind me that You are always present and always working for my good. In Jesus’ name, amen.
