“For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”
‭‭Malachi‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Question
Where have you been allowing circumstances to shake your trust in an unchanging God?

Context
Malachi was speaking to a spiritually careless nation. Israel had grown distant in worship, casual with obedience, and skeptical of God’s love. Yet in the middle of their backsliding, God makes a powerful declaration: “I do not change.” It wasn’t a threat; it was mercy. The only reason they were not “consumed” was because God’s covenant love remained steady even when their devotion wavered.

Application
Everything around us shifts, culture, emotions, finances, health, relationships. Even we change. But God does not. His character is constant. His promises are reliable. His mercy does not fluctuate with our performance.

If God changed with our moods or failures, none of us would stand. But because He is consistent in holiness, faithful in covenant, and steady in love, we are preserved.

When life feels unstable, anchor yourself in God’s unchanging character. Your confidence is not in your consistency, it is in His.

Truth For The Day
God’s unchanging nature is our security.

Pray
Lord, thank You that You do not change. When everything around me feels uncertain, You remain steady. Forgive me for doubting Your consistency when my circumstances shift. Help me anchor my heart in who You are. In Jesus’ name, amen.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Question
What step can you take to spend more time in God’s presence so He can continue His work in you?

Context
Paul contrasts the old covenant, where God’s glory was veiled and distant, with the new covenant in Christ, where believers can freely experience God’s presence. Moses once covered his face after encountering God’s glory, but now, through Christ, the veil is removed. Believers can look to the Lord openly, and as they do, the Holy Spirit continually transforms them.

Application
Transformation doesn’t come from trying harder; it comes from drawing nearer to Christ. As we spend time in His Word, worship, and prayer, His Spirit reshapes our attitudes, desires, and actions. Growth often feels gradual, but every day spent seeking Him moves us “from glory to glory.”

Truth For The Day
God is actively transforming you, even when you don’t see immediate change.

Pray
Lord, thank You for continually shaping my life. Help me keep my eyes on You so Your Spirit can transform my heart day by day. Make me more like Christ in my words, actions, and attitudes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

QuestionWhat situation have I labeled impossible that God is asking me to trust Him with today?

Context
Jesus spoke these words after His disciples questioned how anyone could be saved when human effort seemed insufficient. Jesus reminded them that what is impossible through human strength becomes possible through God’s power.

Application
Instead of carrying the pressure to solve everything yourself, bring your impossible situations to God. Trust that He is already working in ways you cannot see. Faith grows when we stop measuring outcomes by human ability and start trusting divine possibility.

Truth For The Day
WeHuman ability has limits, but God’s power does not.

Pray
Lord, when situations feel impossible, remind me that Your power has no limits. Help me place my worries and challenges into Your hands and trust You to do what I cannot. Strengthen my faith to believe that all things are possible with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
