Question
When was the last time you told someone what God has done for you?

Context
Psalm 9 is a song of thanksgiving written by David after experiencing victory over his enemies. He pauses to give credit where credit is due and not to his strength, not to his strategy, but to the Lord who reigns over all. David reminds us that praise and proclamation go hand in hand. When we truly recognize what God has done, we can’t keep it to ourselves.

Application
The psalmist invites us to tell the world about the Lord’s “unforgettable deeds.” God’s fingerprints are all over your life whether in answered prayers, unexpected peace, timely provision, and daily mercies. Yet sometimes we move so quickly to the next problem that we forget to praise Him for the last miracle.

David’s call is simple: Sing and tell. Praise fills our hearts with gratitude, and testimony fills the world with hope. When you share what God has done, you remind others that He is still reigning, still working, still faithful.

Take a moment today to reflect on one unforgettable thing God has done for you.

Truth For The Day
God’s works are too wonderful to keep silent!

Pray
Lord, You have done unforgettable things in my life. Help me never to forget Your goodness or keep silent about Your faithfulness. Let my words and my life declare that You reign. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Question
What worry do you need to release to God today so that His peace can guard your heart?

Context
Paul wrote these words while he was imprisoned, uncertain of his future, and surrounded by difficulty. Instead of fear or despair, his letter overflowed with joy and confidence in God. He wanted the Philippians (and us) to know that peace isn’t found in perfect circumstances, but in a perfect Savior.

Application
When we turn our worries into prayers and our fear into thankfulness, something powerful happens. God exchanges our panic for His peace. This peace doesn’t make sense to the world because it doesn’t depend on outcomes. It’s a supernatural calm that guards our hearts and minds like a soldier standing watch.

Worry is one of the easiest things to do and one of the hardest to stop. Our minds run to the “what ifs,” what if this doesn’t work out, what if I lose, what if I fail? But Paul’s message is clear: anxiety can’t live where gratitude and prayer dwell.

You may not be able to control what’s happening around you, but you can choose to rest in the One who is in control of everything.

Truth For The Day
Peace isn’t the absence of problems; it’s the presence of God in the middle of them.

Pray
Lord, thank You for being my peace when my heart feels restless. Teach me to bring everything to You in prayer and not just my problems but my praise. Let Your peace guard my heart and mind today through Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬

Question
What situation in your life do you need to trust God to work for good, even though you don’t understand it yet?

Context
Paul wrote these words to Christians in Rome who were suffering persecution, hardship, and uncertainty. He wanted them to understand that their pain wasn’t wasted and that God was weaving every thread of their story into something meaningful and good, even when it didn’t make sense in the moment.

Application
Life doesn’t always feel “good.” Some seasons bring heartbreak, disappointment, or confusion. But this verse reminds us that God is still at work in all things.

“All things” includes the setbacks, the losses, the delays, and even the mistakes. God doesn’t cause every hardship, but He never wastes one. He takes what was meant for harm and turns it toward purpose.

Truth For The Day
God is working in ways you may not yet see and He never stops working for your good.

Pray
Lord, thank You for being faithful even when I can’t see the full picture. Help me to trust that You are working all things together for my good and Your glory. Teach me to rest in Your purpose and not in my own understanding. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
