Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
Psalms 46:10
In a world filled with lots of noise and distractions, the call to be still may seem counterintuitive. Yet, it is in the moments of quietude, that we can truly encounter the presence of God. It is in the stillness that we come to know Him more intimately, to experience His peace that surpasses all understanding.
To be still is a deliberate choice to surrender control and to trust in the goodness and faithfulness of God. It is an invitation to rest in His promises, to cast our anxieties upon Him, and to find refuge in His unfailing love.
As we cultivate a spirit of stillness in our lives, we open ourselves to the transformative work of God’s Spirit within us. We become more attuned to His voice, more sensitive to His leading, and more aware of His presence in every moment.
May we heed the call to be still, to quiet our hearts before the Lord, and to trust in His unfailing love and faithfulness. And may our lives bear witness to the exalted name of God, declaring His glory and majesty to all the earth.

Lord, help me to find moments of stillness to seek Your presence. Teach me to trust in Your sovereignty and to rest in Your unfailing love. May Your name be exalted among the nations, and may Your peace reign in my heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
