The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭2‬:‭47‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Question
If God answered your current prayer in a powerful way, would others clearly see Him or just you?

Context
In Daniel chapter 2, King Nebuchadnezzar had a troubling dream he refused to tell. He demanded that his wise men both tell the dream and interpret it, which was an impossible task. When they could not, their lives were threatened.

Daniel did not panic. He prayed. God revealed the dream and its meaning, and Daniel gave full credit to the Lord before ever speaking to the king.

When the interpretation proved true, the pagan king made a remarkable confession: “Truly your God is the God of gods.”

Application
God revealed secrets not just to save Daniel, but to display His glory before a watching and listening world. Daniel never promoted himself, he magnified God.

In a foreign land, under pressure, and facing death, Daniel chose faith over fear and humility over pride. And because he did, even a powerful king had to acknowledge the greatness of God.

Sometimes the pressure you feel is actually a platform. The problem you’re facing may be the very stage where God intends to reveal Himself through you.

God reveals what others cannot see. He gives wisdom when others are confused. He uses faithful people in unlikely places.

Truth For The Day
When you honor God publicly, He reveals His power visibly.

Pray
Lord, You are the God of gods and the Lord of kings. In every situation I face, help me to seek You first. Give me wisdom where I lack it and courage where I feel pressure. And when You move, let my life point clearly back to You. May others see Your greatness through my obedience. In Jesus’ name, amen.
