For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬

Question
Where are you still trying to rely on your own strength instead of resting in what Christ has already done?

Context
Paul is explaining the foundation of the gospel and justification by faith. In Romans 5, he shows that our peace with God is not earned by moral strength but given through Christ. Verse 6 highlights our condition before salvation: weak, helpless, and unable to rescue ourselves. At the exact moment God ordained, Christ died not for the righteous, but for the ungodly.

Application
A life worth living is built on grace, not self-effort. When we remember that Jesus met us in our weakness, it humbles our pride and fuels our gratitude. Today, stop striving to prove your worth and start living from the assurance that Christ has already proven His love. Grace received becomes grace lived.

Truth For The Day
Christ gave His life when we had none to give.

Pray
Jesus, thank You for meeting me in my weakness. Help me live today in grateful obedience. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
