That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
2 Corinthians 4:16-17
Life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, making it easy to throw in the towel. But as followers of Christ, we are reminded that what we endure on earth is temporary compared to the eternal glory awaiting us. Paul encourages us to fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen—to hold on to the hope we have in Christ.
Even in moments of weakness, God is renewing you from the inside out. Your struggles are not in vain. Every tear, every prayer, every step of faith is part of a greater story that God is writing. He is using your trials to refine you, to strengthen you, and to prepare you for His eternal purpose.
If you feel like giving up today, remember that God has not given up on you. He is your strength and your sustainer. Lean into Him, and let His promises fuel your perseverance. You are not alone, and the best is yet to come.
Pray
Lord, thank You for the hope I have in You. When I feel weary or discouraged, remind me of Your promise of eternal glory. Help me to press on, trusting that You are with me in every trial. Renew my strength, and fill me with courage to keep moving forward. I believe that You are working all things together for good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
