Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭19‬:‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Question
Are there any influences in your life pulling your heart away from the truth of God’s Word?

Context
Revelation 19 describes the victorious return of Jesus Christ. After years of rebellion, deception, and evil ruling the earth, Christ appears as the conquering King. The beast and the false prophet, who led many people away from God through lies and false worship, are finally judged and defeated. This passage reminds us that evil may seem powerful for a season, but it will never overcome the authority of God.

Application
We live in a world filled with deception. Voices constantly try to pull us away from truth, compromise our faith, and redefine what is right. Revelation 19:20 reminds believers that God sees every falsehood and that one day all evil will face judgment. Because of this, we should remain grounded in God’s Word and faithful to Christ, even when culture pressures us to follow another path.

Truth For The Day
Jesus is victorious over every power of darkness. Deception may rise for a time, but truth will reign forever.

Pray
Lord, help me stand firm in Your truth in a world full of deception. Give me discernment to recognize what is false and courage to remain faithful to You. Thank You that Jesus has already secured the victory over sin, evil, and death. Let my life reflect confidence in Your eternal reign. In Jesus’ name, amen.
